Tracking preferences
This site keeps a record of listing searches and views, saved homes, comparisons, contact actions and account activity. Realcomp, the MLS that provides these listings, requires an activity record for the consumers who use IDX search.
What is recorded
- Pages and listings you open, searches you run, filters and payment settings you commit, and photo, compare, save and share actions.
- A random visitor code stored in a cookie, a session code, your device type (phone, tablet or desktop) and the time.
- If you sign in: your account ID, linked to earlier activity from the same browser.
What is not recorded
Passwords, sign-in tokens, payment cards, Social Security numbers, your precise location, the text of messages you send, URL query strings, or any disability or veteran selection.
Your choice
You can turn off usability analytics below. The listing and account activity record described above is kept regardless, because the MLS requires it.
Suggested homes: likes and removed homes
Thumbs up and thumbs down on a suggested home only tune suggestions. They do not save a home to Favorites. We remember which homes you liked or removed (listing numbers, when you chose, and for a liked home only rough size, lot and garage ranges). We do not keep your browsing, cities, neighborhoods or reasons. This never changes ordinary search results.
- Not signed in: saved in this browser only. Clearing site data removes it.
- Signed in: saved to your account so it follows you across devices. Signing out removes it from this browser; it returns when you sign back in.
- Saved even if usability analytics is turned off, because you chose it directly. You can stop or reset it here at any time.
